London will soon be home to its first eco-friendly laundry vending machine, which will be placed at Epping Underground Station on Saturday 6th October.
Londoners will now be able to drop their dirty laundry off at a VDrop for a price of £3 per garment, and have it washed, cleaned and returned within 24 hours.
To use the new system, customers will need to sign up on the official website (vclean.life) to obtain a QR code which will be scanned by the machine. The machine will then give you a biodegradable bag to put your laundry in, leave it in the machine then collect it 24 hours later.
The company are also hoping to introduce VDrops to Greenwich, Loughton, Woodford and South Woodford, as well as offices and gyms across the city.
VClean is the company behind VDrop. They are a laundry company which cleans without perchloroethylene, a chemical which is known to bring harmful side effect.
